|---|
|
The only thing you need to do is to open a current account in a bank - issuer of DinaCard and fill in the application form for DinaCard. |
| Why DinaCard? |
|---|
|
| Paying with DinaCard |
|---|
DinaCard can be used for paying goods and services in all the retail stores with DinaCard sign on them. When using DinaCard in a retail store, you hand your card to the merchant who first checks it visually. The card has to be signed. If merchant requires so, you should show your ID as well. After this check, the merchant slides the card through the POS terminal, inputs the amount of purchase by which the process of payment is initiated. If you have enough funds on your bank account the transaction is approved, and two copies of slip (receipt) are printed on the POS terminal. You sign one copy of the slip, which remains in possession of the merchant. Before signing the slip, you should check the amount on it. The second copy of slip remains with you, and you should keep it until comparing it with your bank account statement. If there are any discrepancies betweeen the slips you have kept and entries in your bank account statement, you should inform your issuing bank about it and, if necessary, initiate the chargeback process. Banks define deadlines for chargeback initiation, and therefore it is important to check your account statements regularly. Sometimes, the merchant can ask you to enter your PIN code on POS terminal. Before entering it, you should first check the amount of purchase on POS terminal display. DinaCard cardholders have no fees for purchase transactions. Their accounts can be debited only for the amount of purchased goods or services. |
| Cash withdrawal with DinaCard |
|---|
Cash can be withdrawn with DinaCard on all the ATMs in Serbia with DinaCard sign on them. When using DinaCard on ATM, you first insert your card into the ATM, and following the instructions on the display, enter your PIN code and the amount of money you wish to withdraw. If you have enough funds on your bank account, the cash is disbursed and the receipt printed. It is not necessary to sign this receipt. You should keep receipts for ATM disbursed cash, in order to compare them later with your account statemen. If your card is kept in the ATM, you should inform your issuing bank about it immediately. Issuing banks in most cases do not charge their cardholders for withdrawing cash on their own ATMs. For using an ATM of a bank other than yours, your account will be debited both for the amount of cash withdrawal and for the amount of withdrawal fee. When withdrawing cash with your DinaCard in a bank, you hand your card to the employee of the bank who initiates the procedure of cash disbursment. If the bank employee requires so, you should enter your PIN code on the POS terminal. If you have enough funds on your banks account, cash is disbursed to you and you receive the receipt for this transaction. You should keep this receipt for checking it against your bank account statement. Issuing banks in most cases do not charge their cardholders for withdrawing cash in their own branches and outlets. For withdrawing cash in another bank, your account will be debited both for the amount of cash withdrawal as well as for the amount of withdrawal fee. |

DinaCard is an instrument of non-cash payment, and it should be kept in a safe way. The card can be used only by the cardholder, i.e. the person whose name is printed on the card. After receiving the envelope containing PIN, you should remember this number and destroy the envelope. Your PIN should not be disclosed to anyone in order to prevent misuse of your card at the ATMs. In case of a lost/stolen DinaCard, it is necessary for you to inform your issuing bank about it as soon as possible. The card will be blocked immediatley, and it will not be possible for anyone else to use it. You are responsible for all the expenses made by your DinaCard until the moment of reporting the lost/stolen card to your bank. In case you find your missing card (previously reported as lost/stolen) afterwards, you must not use it, but return it to the issuing bank. |
